Ras El Hanout
In Morocco, the name is translated as "head of shop." In North Africa, this blend can contain from 10 to 100 different spices.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground coriander
- 1/2 tsp ground allspice
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 3/4 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix all ingredients. Any extra spice blend can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
