Mom’s Scalloped Corn
Mom's Scalloped Corn
An old family recipe. My mother makes this often, based on her mother's recipe.
Ingredients
- 1 can cream-style corn
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cup saltines, crumbled
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 pats butter
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a one quart baking dish.
- Crumble saltines with food processor or by hand. In a bowl, add corn, egg, and milk and mix until combined. Pour into baking dish. Top with four pats of butter and sprinkle liberally with salt and pepper.
- Bake in oven at 350 for 45 minutes. When crusty on top, remove and serve.
