Fruit Salsa Romanoff

Ingredients
  

  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup fresh orange juice
  • 2 tbsp orange liqueur or cognac
  • 2 cups sliced or diced fruit (strawberries, peaches, plums, nectarines, apricots, cherries, seedless grapes, raspberries)

Instructions
 

  • Mix together the sugar, orange juice and liqueur, adjusting the amount of sugar according to the sweetness of the fruit.
  • Put the fruit in a bowl, pour the marinade over it and stir gently.
  • Chill for an hour, stirring occasionally.
